Ive set the amount of non-paged pool in my memory to try to bring it down, but am still experiencing issues. Instead, it displays only the headings with general memory data. If you use PoolMon to display the session pool on a computer that is not a Terminal Server, or if you type a session ID that does not exist on Windows, PoolMon does not display any allocations.

Looking at the Task Manager, we could easily see that a massive amount of Kernel Memory was being used. Only systems configured as a Terminal Server allocate memory from the session pool.

It is a problematic software that causes issues of various kinds on Windows and in Browsers and unless uninstalled it is impossible to see if that is/was the causing your issue or not. I suggest you start with Uninstalling all things Avast.
